Close a task pane

To close a task pane using the keyboard:

  1. Press F6 until the task pane is selected.

  2. Press Ctrl+Spacebar.

  3. Employ the arrow keys to select Shut, and then press Enter.

Ribbon keyboard shortcuts

The ribbon groups related options on tabs. For example, on the Domicile tab, the Font grouping includes the Font Colour option. Press the Alt key to brandish the ribbon shortcuts, called Key Tips, as letters in small images next to the tabs and options as shown in the image below.

Set the proofing linguistic communication

Every document has a default linguistic communication, typically the same default language as your estimator's operating arrangement. If your document too contains words or phrases in a different language, it's a good idea to fix the proofing language for those words. This non just makes information technology possible to check spelling and grammar for those phrases, but information technology besides enables assistive technologies like screen readers to handle them appropriately.

Note:Depending on the version of Role you are using, the Search text field at the top of the app window might be chosen Tell Me instead. Both offer a largely similar experience, but some options and search results tin vary.

  1. Select the detail or place in your certificate, presentation, or spreadsheet where you want to perform an action. For case, in an Excel spreadsheet, select a range of cells.

  2. To go to the Search text field, press Alt+Q.

  3. Type the search words for the action that you want to perform. For example, if you desire to add together a bulleted listing, type bullets.

  4. Press the Downward arrow central to browse through the search results.

  5. Once you've found the outcome that you desire, press Enter to select it and to perform the action.

Work in the ribbon tabs and menus
